Be a new person.  Trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. See "Growing in the Lord" in publications page.

This aspect of the ministry is based on a book on Christian literature development by Harvard University, "Christianity in China: Early Protestant Missionary Writings," where a group of people evaluated the literature developed by missionaries to China in the early 1800's.  They found that these missionaries used tracts to educate, not just to present Bible verses.  Most literature today presents a problem and then uses proof-texts to persuade.   A quote from page 47: "Their purpose was not to inspire or spark the conversion experience, but to educate the reader about basic Christian concepts."  This is happening today, not everyone knows and understands basic Christian terms.

Another aspect is to use the graphics and language of the people we are trying to reach.  For example, to use an Anglo face or motif when trying to reach the Chinese is out of character. Instead, graphics and culture explanation should revolve around the Chinese.  This holds true for each theme of a piece of literature.
